A 95-point beating, counted twice
Welcome to the League of Ordinary Gentlemen Weekly, a name this league lives up to every Sunday. Teams averaged 137.30 in Week 7. Too Hot, Need a Fannin scored 197.64 and calebgross24 scored 87.36. CeeDee-z Nuts beat calebgross24 by 95.21, which is more than calebgross24 scored. The league median, the second game everyone plays every week, was 138.97. Five teams went 2-0, five went 0-2, and two split the week.
The NFL sorted out the winners. Tony Pollard ran for 129 yards and three touchdowns, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught nine for 150. Both play for Too Hot, Need a Fannin. Kansas City scored three points in Seattle, and Patrick Mahomes scored 6.0 for floating aimlessly. Lamar Jackson missed a third straight game. Matthew Stafford broke the Rams' touchdown record, and Bryce Young threw two picks for anyone brave enough to start him.
Then the managers took over. Three teams lost with a winning lineup on their own bench. Just Call Me Daddy dropped Tyler Huntley, who started for Baltimore, to claim the Jets defense, which scored −0.55. floating aimlessly cut the Tampa Bay defense three days before it scored 30.2. YouMalikTheKing’sBalls left 56.97 on the bench, including a two-touchdown tight end. Ordinary is generous.

calebgross24 started Justin Jefferson at superflex, with J.J. McCarthy (10.18) on the bench. Jefferson scored 8.4. Baker Mayfield came back from his thumb injury and scored 6.66 at QB. Darnell Mooney and Evan Engram scored 1.7 each. That's 87.36, the lowest score of the week. It went 0-2, it's 2-12, and it still doesn't have a name. At this point the lack of a name is the best thing about it.
CeeDee-z Nuts got 51.72 from its quarterbacks: Drake Maye 28.44 and Dak Prescott 23.28. CeeDee Lamb caught two touchdowns for 24.4. It went 2-0 and sits second at 10-4. It has beaten the median six times in seven weeks, the best in the league, and is still only 4-3 head-to-head. Its luck is −1.18, the worst. This week the schedule finally handed it a free win.

Too Hot, Need a Fannin scored 197.64. Pollard 36.5, Smith-Njigba 31.3, Luther Burden 23.7. Jameson Williams (26.1) and Geno Smith (24.48) were on the bench, and it still won by 69.87. It went 2-0, it's 11-3, and it leads the league in points with 1,172.81. The only flaw is the name.
YouMalikTheKing’sBalls left 56.97 on the bench, the most in the league. Mason Taylor caught two touchdowns for 27.7 on the bench. Malik Willis scored 26.02 on the bench in Miami's first win of the year. Kyler Murray started at superflex for 13.9, and Jalen Coker started for 1.9. Even the best lineup, 184.74, loses by 12.90. But that lineup clears the 138.97 median easily, and instead it went 0-2. Bad decisions turned one loss into two.

Then it traded Hunter Henry, who scored 17.6 here, on Monday morning. It also dropped the Tampa Bay defense on Thursday for Trey Smack, then dropped Smack on Saturday. Tampa Bay scored 30.2. Four moves, the most in the league. The name fits.
Just Call Me Daddy lost by 24.36 and left 26.05 on the bench. Makai Lemon scored 19.7 there. The Seattle defense scored 6.45 on the bench while the Jets defense started for −0.55. Daddy claimed the Jets on Wednesday by dropping Tyler Huntley, who started for Baltimore and scored 16.12. The best possible lineup wins, and it beats the median too. Instead Daddy went 0-2. The kids are embarrassed.

troth19 won with Daniel Jones at QB (4.62). Cam Skattebo ran for 124 yards (19.1), and Jacoby Brissett added 16.48 at superflex. Then it lost to the median anyway, because 120.75 doesn't beat anybody's median. troth19 is 0-7 against the median this season, the only team that hasn't beaten it once. It's 2-12, and even the win came with a loss attached.

Expected wins come from the all-play record: how you'd do if you played every team every week. Luck counts head-to-head games only, since the median game can't be lucky. floating aimlessly is 4-3 head-to-head with a 32-45 all-play record, the luckiest in the league at +1.09. Missed adds
A missed add only counts if, over the weeks before, the free agent had averaged at least as much as the starter he'd have replaced, and Sleeper projected him at least as high that week. Hindsight doesn't count.
No missed adds this week. The free-agent booms were hindsight: Davis Allen (20.0) had averaged 2.55. The Tampa Bay defense (30.2) doesn't count as a missed add either. floating aimlessly already had it and cut it, which is worse.
Waiver winners
CeeDee-z Nuts · ssykoraClaimed Tyrone Tracy, started him, and got 11.35 in a 95.21-point win. The player dropped for him, Sean Tucker, scored 11.2, so the net gain was 0.15.
